&C

From webshop to magazine. In one month.

&C’s site was built as a webshop, with the stories bolted on. Behind it ran a heavy, expensive system. We flipped it: stories first, shop second. New magazine design, 13,000 articles moved, editors publish on their own. Live in one month.

The challenge

&C’s site was built as a webshop, with the stories bolted on. Behind it ran a heavy, expensive system. &C wanted to flip it: stories first, shop second. Success is no longer just sales, but readers who stay and subscribe.

Our approach

An entirely new design, built as a magazine. We moved 13,000 articles to a simple system where the editors publish on their own. The shop and subscriptions stayed connected.

Results

  • A fast site that reads like a magazine
  • Editors work independently
  • Subscriptions come first, the shop supports
  • 13,000 articles moved
  • Live in one month

What we delivered

  • New magazine design and headless frontend
  • Simple CMS where editors publish themselves
  • Migration of 13,000 articles
  • Shop and subscriptions kept connected
  • andc.tv platform launch

Technology

Storyblok, Shopify, Meilisearch, Next.js, Node.js, Spotler
