“When a measurement breaks, we see it the same week. That's why we trust our numbers again.”

The problem

FM's customers order through B2B portals and apps per brand. Earlier tracking was wrong. In our first check, 3 of the 17 properties sent no data, and at one brand purchases were missing their order number. Inside FM, people had come to believe the data was never right.

What we did

We went back to basics, with one measurement plan for every webshop and app. GA4 now runs server-side and GDPR-compliant, alongside client-side tracking and the Measurement Protocol. Everything lands in BigQuery, where 19 checks look for errors every morning. Laura sees the outcome on one page.

What it delivers

FM now follows a customer from a social post to the order on the portal. The team steers on new customers, returning customers and portal use. That works towards more customers ordering online themselves, so sales spends less time on the phone.
