Digital audio is bought per thousand listens, the CPM. To a small business owner that means little. The copywriter found 'CPM, impressions and targeting' too technical for the homepage. The site had to answer two questions: how many people in my region hear me, and at what cost?

We built digitalaudio.nl in Next.js, with its own Strapi CMS. At its core is a four-step reach calculator: postcode and radius, audience, duration and budget. It adds up the residents per postcode area from CBS and applies the weekly reach from NMO. A table puts the CPM of digital audio next to ten other media.

For postcode 3511 in Utrecht and 30 km, the calculator arrives at 338,753 unique listeners a week. A €150 budget buys about 10,000 listens. Anyone who wants a proposal leaves a name and email, and the team gets every figure by email. The homepage loads in 0.7 seconds on desktop. GA4 and Search Console for both sites sit under one account.

A request from the calculator reaches the team's inbox and Strapi with postcode, audience and budget.
